I got an email response too, wanting to know exactly what wasn't working for me or what I didn't like. If anyone else doesn't like it, I suggest contacting them and telling them why. They seem receptive to hearing about it.

This has always been the case with me as well. They answer promptly (sometimes the same day, depending on the time zones), and seem genuinely interested in solving the issue. Gotta say they have great CS.

Estate pipe link still broken. Additionally, the first three icons came back as "currently unavailable". I let them know.

And now the site seems to be down....

Leave well enough alone, I say.

Cheers?

I got the "page unavailable" routine several times today. Finally just said the hell with it! :suspect: FTRPLT

Looks like the newsletter today has the estate link working, and all the others as well. After all the news coverage about the flooding in coastal SC I thought maybe SP was under water or something. Hope they came through with minimal interruptions.

Anyone down that way please comment.

Cheers,

RR

I got an e-mail from Chip about my order and how things are going up there. This is what he said:

"Mr. Hudon,

Thanks for your thoughts.  We are doing fine here overall.  The biggest issues have been road closures and the like.  We are not having any shipping issues from here but you may want to monitor your tracking for any delays that may arise.

Thanks again.

It looks like I'm probably in the minority, but I like their new website. It is much better for being able to search the Estates by new in stock or by price.

Next year will be taking a trip to SC and will be very close to their location. I think I will at least stop at their storefront they have.

You do want to visit the Little River store!! You'll be in "hog heaven!!" Lots of cigars and pipe 'baccy!! Many open tins for you to try. Take several pipes with you!! They have coffee ready for you to enjoy. Some pipes are on the wall boards. They have laptops for you to peruse the entire inventory. Find one you want, they will have it delivered!!! I never miss a trip when I get to the Myrtle Beach area. FTRPLT
