Hi,
I was listening to a podcast about pipes the other day and the cost of pipe tobacco in the USA was mentioned. As I recall, varied from about $5 an oz (28g) upwards.
In various places, I've seen US pipe smokers complain at the high cost of tobacco.
In the UK, we pay nearer $10 for an oz. The last tin of 50g (under 2oz) of Peterson's I bought a few days ago was £11.30 ($18.05), which is just over $10 per oz.
I'm curious, what do people pay in other countries?
It would help if you can use the online currency converters to work in, say, US $ per oz (50g is 1.764 oz, if you buy in oz.)
Pick an 'every day' tobacco, no something saved for high days and holidays.
Thank you.
Brian
