today's weirdness

It seems something like this happened a few months ago, but didn't affect everyone. In a few days it was back to normal. I guess it really doesn't matter, as long as I can still get here.

I'm interpolating a bit here, but from what I know the DNS map is held on a DNS server. When we go to a a particular internet site, the URL must be unique. DNS handles this and returns access requests with the network address of the server that has that site on disk. Without it no one is directing traffic. Given that this happened in the past, it may be that this current fluctuation is due to the need to get more space for that server's load or for maintenance. In order for the users to still be able to access BoB while they work out the problem they may have moved it, temporarily or permanently, to another server. Picture BoB as just one of the many forumotion sites. We're in the middle of whatever other forum has a lower disk address and in front of the next that has a higher address.
