Well...

This past Friday, my family and I moved into our new place...we broke ground April 16th after having lived in a one-bedroom, 800sq ft in-law suite for 2 1/2 years (that's me, my wife, my two kids, and two dogs and a house full of stuff, and my coffee roasting business, and my wife's vintage goods business).

Here is a DropBox folder for pics...

Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll upload them here...

We are so relieved to move in and live in 2600 sq ft of brand new house, the dogs love the 1 acre lot, and I'm across the street from my brother and sister-in-law.

It feels like forever. But, we're finally in...

Edit:

Here's some of the photos...

I don't have any finished photos of the bedrooms/garage/workshop/basement yet because everything is still a mess.

Very, very cool. Being a musician I have to say, I love the basement.
I am also a musician. So my guitars, drums, amps, etc. will mostly be in the basement. The grand piano will be in the living room, and a few select instruments will be on the wall.

My family plays rock 'n roll as well as Croatian/Serbian folk music (tamburica), so those will be proudly displayed as well...I'll post more pics when they're up.

Congrats!!! Still in Valley City or are you somewhere entirely different now?

Now THAT is a BIG house !! And DAMN FINE to boot !! Interesting what ya'll do north of the Mason Dixon Line, ya put a whole floor underneath the house !! They just pour a slab of cement on the ground and tack the house on top of it down here  Your way gives ya a two story house with THREE floors !! Sneaky    Besides the black dirt we have moves waaaay to much to do that !!

Beautiful HOME. It will hold alot of love and friendship in that home.

Congratulations...she's a beauty.

Nathan, congrats on this accomplishment.

When its done, dont forget to post pics of your first bowl on your new lawn/porch!

Just beautiful sir! Really like the front porch, looks like enough room out there to sit and smoke no matter what the weather. ;)

Fantastic looking house Nathan, I really like the wrap around porch! Congrats on making your dreams a reality!

This is really cool, Nathan! Housewarming party?

My family built a house my sophomore year of high school. We did a ton of the labor ourselves. I remember getting out of school and going to the work site to help out.

Congratulations on the new home... It must be an extremely rewarding experience for you... May you life many a happy year there.
