Good Afternoon my fellow BoBs.
Time for another smoke on this gorgeous day, here in Ye merry olde England. And its going to be my ever favourite Hobbit Weed in a Peterson XL21 Army Dublin with sterling silver mount, from their Evening Series. I hope your all having a fantastic day my friends.

Good Morning!
Up a bit earlier than usual so I loaded a Morgan with SG Full Virginia Flake to keep me company while doing chores. Inside is done, heading outside!
FVF is one of my favorites. A friend saw that I was smoking mainly classic American drugstore blends. He did I needed to widen my horizons. He sent me a very large sample package. Some Frog Morton and others from that blender. Then I found two bags with SG FVF and 1792 flake. I was blown away with the flavors. I didn't know pipe tobacco even tasted or smelled like that. GH Rum Flake is another one I enjoy alot.

Nearing the last quarter of this bowl of Uhle’s Blend 71 in a smooth straight brown family era Sasieni Mayfair 64 N Canadian with a black tapered vulcanite stem. A little snacking follows this smoke. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Hello Jim, very nice pipe there. I bought an unsmoked Wally Frank Canadian from EB a couple years ago, it was in the original box wrapped in the light red tissue paper. The seller said it was from the 50s. I like the lightly topped burley pipe tobacco, 1960s style I guess, to where it's not an aromatic but it is a pleasant pipey room note while smoking. Does Uhle's 00 blend fit that description? See, I like Prince Albert, SWR and Lane Limited Ready Rubbed, but I also love and so does my family, that good pipe aroma, not like Captain Black but the classic "Mmm, someone is smoking a pipe" smell. Does Uhle's have any of that?

Good morning BoBs. Really late this morning. Didn't even get out of bed until almost 8. Finally made it out to the patio for some CS Shepherds Pie in a Pete Pub with CR coffee. Overcast and gloomy, light sprinkling of rain, but ar least it's cool. A pleasant 65. Zippo, glad to hear you're out and about. Hope you got in some pub time, 😆. Glad you're enjoying the Urban Cowboy. Will get another batch off soon. Have a great day everyone.

Joining my buddy Zippo with his fav Hobbits Weed in a Pete Rosslare smooth bent apple and my 3rd mug of coffee. Had to retire to the garage nook as this blend draws gnats like bees to honey, lol. Vets day at the casino. Will go up at noon and see if I can win a few bucks off their free money and have dollar fifty tacos for lunch, lol.

MB Virginia no 1 in a CAO bent rhodesian meerschaum. I just watched a Southland Piper video where he says that a classic bulldog must have a diamond shank, two stacked cones for a bowl, and be a straight pipe. If a pipe is lacking any of those traits, it's a rhodesian. That kind of makes sense to me. It sounds more elegant to go with a bent pipe. Bulldog would be straight and sturdy. Luckily my Pete Kenmare still fits the bill for a bulldog. 🙂

Yes, it does. So does their Perfection Plug Burley, and No. 300.

In a month or two, Watch City will be coming out with a burley forward blend with light toppings that was designed to be premium OTC-like.

Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Watching Mad Dog Russo. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
