Getting ready to load a Ser Jacpo with some 3 year old Victorian Stroll. Will be interesting to see how it has aged.

I had been trying to smoke up this tin of GL Pease Cumberland X for quite some time. So I tossed in what looked like about 10% perique and something like 17% or so latakia and it's making for a really grand smoke. Breaking in the new Ruthenberg.

Those of you who do not know the story, Cumberland X came about when someone mistakenly used latakia instead of perique for a batch. Rare as hens teeth now. After getting my grubby paws on a tin, I asked around about it. General opinion was, it didn't have near enough latakia. For a Dark Lord blend.

I had a longer than usual commute today, so I enjoyed a bowl full of Mac Baren Va no1 in my Peterson standard 303.

Late afternoon smoke of Walnut in the same Kaywoodie GF POY and then an early evening smoke of Walnut in a Kaywoodie Supreme 1/2 bent apple while on the way to the pipe club meeting. I emphasize on the way, thanks to the Obama wagon train that skewed our state elections, that allowed the socialist enough votes to pass a smoking ban, which prohibits us from smoking at our pipe club meetings now.
