I am sure the numbers are skewed some. I often pop in and look around with out signing in. I am sure that's counted in the metrics as lurking..

It shows bots and hidden separately. Guests are the ones considered lurking, rather read what's going on without signing up or as DrumsAndBeer stated " signing in ". I just signed out before writing this thread and showed up as a guest, not a bot. The bots that show up on the bottom are actually the search engines: Google and Bing
