Starting the day with GLP Charring Cross in an MM Apple Diplomat along with black coffee. The morning ritual has been interrupted by a call from the Post Office, it's time to go pickup round two of baby chicks!

Smoking a Pete XL02 with Casey Jones and another mug of Community coffee.It`s warming up quickly outside!

Picked up the baby chickens, they all survived the trip. I got their new quarters set up and it's warming while I relax with some GLP Westminster in a Pride. Once the chicks are settled in it's off to shop for groceries, I'll be glad when most of that gets done daily in the garden!

Top o the morning laddies. Just finishing up a bowl of Urban Cowboy in the huge Don Carlos bent dublin. On my 2nd mug of cowboy coffee. A very pleasant 50 degrees on the patio. Perfect under the big umbrella. Making a presentation with the Legion Riders group at the VA later this morning. We bought blankets, laundry detergent, and talcum powder for the homeless vets at the Domicilliary. Got enough for all 73 residents. Yeehaw.

2nd round is C&D Billy Budd in a rarely smoked Karl Erik hand made 1/4 bent dublin. Don't know why I don't reach for this one more often as it's a good smoker. More cowboy coffee. A good pairing. 9.0 on the Zenometer. Lol.

So today I thought for my first smoke, it will be some Condor in a Parker Earl 391 Dublin. Its our 50th wedding anniversary today, so will be going out a little later for dinner and drinks, with family and friends.

Started off the morning with a bowl of uber old BS-005 in my big ol' Larryson blasted bull doggy. Followed by 2009 LJP Cambridge Flake in a 2000 Colin Fromm Handmade SG Brandy. Dark, strong Kona coffee to accompany!! Grand morning!! FTRPLT

Passing the half way mark on this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Smoking a seldom used Vauen Lexus bent pot with Carter Hall and a large bottle of Pellegrino mineral water. It`s a very pleasant 65 degrees here.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple, and a bunch of unsalted peanuts on the side. I've about a third of a bow left of 4th Generation Night Slice in a 1970s smooth medium bend Stanwell Registered 969-48 Design Choice 837 sitter with a vulcanite stem and ferrule in the military mount style. Changed my mind about a couple of aspects of this blend for my review, which I hope to finish soon.
