Now smoking SWRA in a straight, black sandblasted undated Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight apple 551 with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Pre dinner it's Haebars gifted BSOSM match in a Vauen bent brandy. Ice water and some of Jim's bergs is my drink as well. Charley, hope you had a great birthday.
A bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter got me into town, through a little walk downtown after dinner, and then back home. It's an interesting tobacco, a couple of people said it reminded them of cherry tobaccos they'd remembered. It's pretty nutty to me. I had a great night, thank you all for all the happy bdays. Smoked in a Mastro Geppetto rusticated 22.

Did a little snacking, and am passing the quarter mark on this bowl of Sutliff Presbyterian in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend.

That's what I drink, Starbucks. We have a popcorn roaster that I've thought of roasting my own beans. I might give it a shot!
Go for it, I've exclusively used a popcorn popper for almost 20 years. Check out Sweet Maria's site for beans and instructions. I love their dry processed Ethiopian.

That might be the problem. I'm not a big fan of Starbucks. Find it somewhat bitter. If they have it where you are try some 8 o'clock Columbian Supreme. I find it much better than Starbucks.
Years ago, that 8 o'clock made consumer reports as one of the best. I think SB emphasizes dark roast taste over the bean's variety taste. Probably cheaper to them that way.

How much green coffee do you start with? How long do you run the popper and do you preheat it? Does the chaff fly all over the kitchen. These are the things I'm curious about and they'll help Charley get started! Amazon has a decent Organic Columbian from Fresh Roasted Coffee.

I use 6 spoons from a measuring spoon I got from them I think. I'll look at the size, but it is not large. My roaster, is the old Westbend poppery with the higher wattage, but SM offers a popper they say will work. I don't pre-heat, and roast outside, so chaff does fly. I'll check out the Amazon offer. I tend to buy once or twice per year and get maybe up to 20 pounds each of mostly dry processed. It has good pungent tastes that I favor. I only roast for weekends.

Starting my day with CS Choctaw in a Calabresi bent brandy and a mug of my fav Costa Rican coffee. Going shooting with my riding buddy later. Goldberg why not? Maybe the first BoB to hit page 1000 should get an oz of tobacco from everyone else who posts on thepage that day, lol. Or we have a smoking party where everyone smokes their fav pipe and tobacco that day. Yeehaw.
