I usually gravity pack my pipes, do a charring light, tamp lightly, relight if needed. Works for me. I usually fold and stuff flakes.

UPS has done the same to me twice on large purchases. Nothing like comming home and finding 2000 rounds of 5.56 sitting on a metal chair on your front porch. We have groups of people that tail UPS and USPS looking for packages dropped off in view of the roadway.
