Just got back from a work trip in Vegas. Smoking some GH Squadron Leader in a new (to me) Mark Tinsky BOB pipe.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Cleaning out the workshop/garage on a dreary cool damp day. Expecting this cup of Sencha tea and bowl of C&D Steamworks in a Peterson 302 rusticated standard system with p-lip will brighten and warm things up.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. When I finish this tin, I'll pull out some aged Strang to smoke in a different pipe.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2020 Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Enjoying a fun chat with an old friend. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Clever! Better safe than sorry!

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2015 John Aylesbury Sir John’s Flake Virginia in a straight smooth light brown 2020 Ryan Alden Ace of Spades squat bulldog with a spalted pecan top and ferrule that’s attached to the tapered black acrylic stem.

I followed up my last Rob Roy of Abingdon with another while I set up some plant lights with a friend. Appetizer smoke is GLP Kensington in a Pride along with a glass of wine while my supermarket sushi warms up.

Smoking a Savinelli 626 with MB 7 seas regular blend,mug of DD coffee. Nasty,rainy night here,Hopefully, the weather clears up overnight,so my back stops giving me problems and I can go to work without pain in the morning.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, grouper and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2010 FVF in a much cherished smooth, brown straight grain three quarter bend 1979 Becker M 4 heart brandy with a black acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Thanks Zippo. In NYC. I have been a world traveler most of my adult life, but being in a strange city or place is a bit destabilizing. Hopefully feel more at ease tomorrow. I miss my pipe. No smoking here.

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am smoking year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy medium bend 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Smokes as well as a first and worth the $19.95 I paid for it all those years ago.

What makes the difference btw Rhodesian and Bulldog, Jim? Is a Bulldog typically a conical bowl? Anyone with a solid definition please chime in.

PS: Found some cogent information. I would still like members' opinions, though.
