Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am smoking Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Watching a Gene Autry movie.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy medium bend 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Smokes as well as a first and worth the $19.95 I paid for it all those years ago. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. The Virginias have mellowed so the perique seems a bit stronger as a result. Still delicious, though.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1984 medium bend black grain etched Savinelli Non Pareil 9310 poker with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite flared stem. If I get everything done, I'll end the day with this smoke.

We made a home for Sam the Scamp and her babies in the back bathroom so the other cats won’t bother them. Earlier today, Sam was banging on the door, so we let her out. She spent a little time with us, and then wanted outside. She came back a little over an hour later, and wanted to go back to her babies. Guess she needed a break, or maybe she was looking for the two ferals she mated with. I greatly suspect Harry the Hairy was one of them.

Half way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem. I will end the day with this smoke. Tomato the Brave wanted to eat, and so did Daisy the Feral Princess, but not together. That took some of my time. I checked on Sam, and she wouldn't eat without my company even though she's in the bathroom. Then, she wanted to stroll around the house with me. She's back with her babies, now.

Jim, looks like a first from what I can see. Perhaps an example of the erratic Charatan grading.

@Swede Have you tried Mate, from Argentina?

Decided to light a bowl of MT in the Legend, I don't have a very receptive palate today. I won't likely buy Mark Twain or Casanova again, I seem to be drifting away from Aromatics. They're not bad, I just don't reach for them lately. I've been much more impressed with uncased blending tobaccos.
No, I've never tried Mate. I'll have to look into that. Thanks

Woke up too early, so I checked on Sam, who immediately came to me and wanted out of the bathroom. We walked to the other side of the house, and she ate a little. Then she wanted a little attention. M'lady is doing that now while I feed Sleepy Suzy. Since I'm awake, I'm having a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Good morning BoBs. Just finishing up a bowl of CS Figgy Pudding in a Don Carlos bent brandy with my 2nd mug of coffee. Ruminating on what to have for a 2nd bowl. Nothing on the schedule today so will probably have lunch at the casino as it's old farts day, soup and 1/2 sandwich for $4, then hit the gym.
