    Missouri Meerschaum

    I've been smoking for a short time and have tried some lower end briar basket pipes and have to say my Missouri Meerschaum cob smokes the best. Good draw, it's a little hot so I smoke slower, but the best I have. Anyone else feel the same about the cob? :star:

    The estate pipe I recently cleaned up makes a light whistle but more often a gurgling sound when I draw. How to I quiet this thing down? It has a stinger if that matters, I thought I cleaned it well enough but maybe I didn't.

    Pear Root and Clay

    I broke the stem on my pipe the other day and I'm down to a cob. I've been eying the pipes by Mr. Brog made of pear root and thinking about a clay. Any thoughts on either of these pipes?
