    Opinel knives

    My Father at one time in his life was a Shrimper in The Gulf Of Mexico. I can still see him under the Old Live Oak mending his net useing his fixed blade Opinel net knife. He's passed away and I have it on my desk. I think of him when I see it.

    Thought I would share another knife....

    That knife is so right , it's a beaut. My son makes a few knifes and made me a damascus plug cutter with Giraffe bone handles, fine knife but pales by yours. I'm a Cajun 74 yrs old and would feel undressed if I go anywhere without my knife.

    My only Fruitcake I crave is from Texas, Collins Bakery, order every year and put an extra in freezer, small servings vacumn wrapped. It's the Best.
