Well I think if it was Drama he was looking for he would have logged in at least once since he has posted this to see what was going on, but he hasn't and even when I messaged him on FB that he is being missed he still hasn't logged in to see,
But I talked to John about why he said good bye and as BB has statedout of respect for him, I don't and won't bring up why, but I can tell you this he left with out stating why, so there would not be any drama

I'm so glad Fatman is ok. I was concerned for his well being. I'm still sorry to see John leave but very relieved he is in good health.

Seems like he had the common courtesy to say goodbye, at least that's what I thought the context was, and the community here ought to accord him the same courtesy and let it lie.  I for one didn't perceive much "drama" in the OP (though like Dave I think the best way to leave any online community is simply to quietly to walk away), though a lot of what has been posted subsiquent to that OP has been essentially poke-nosed in nature (just my opinion, of course).  People come and go and, as has been said already, the door is open should he ever want to post again.

I opened up a sample last night that he'd sent a few weeks back and got to thinking about him...I miss seeing John around here, but if he's doing well then that's something of a relief.

Kyle's fine, just occupied with other life matters right now.    Been there, done that.  The field I was in dried up due to gubment cuts and a bad economy, so I can relate to having to start over.

Here is a thread he created a short while back going into more detail.

Just heard back from Kyle and he says Hi to all here on BoB. He also said 'Eff You' to me, so yup - everything's fine. Hopefully this will encourage him to at least check in more often.
