Bummed I had to sit out last month, but primed and ready for this month's mission--count me in!

How about chalk candy hearts as a packing material. THAT'S where lakeland essence comes from.

FYI: I'm working at pulling together a bunch of mission data into one document. It involves going back through all the old mission docs (about a dozen) and cross referencing...and also having to go through old PM's and otherwise. That's one reason I didn't want to bunch of PM's up front - it pushes the older ones down and off the bottom into oblivion.

Trying to get a list of past events and more than that a complete address list, marked with a bunch of special 'codes'. heh, heh

Try to be patient - all will come to pass in good time.

Wow! We've got 23 already. More to come I'm sure.

I've made at least one assumption here, so give me a little slack on that. And as always, if I've skipped or missed your name somehow, just let me know here in the thread and I'll of course add you right in there.

Orders will flow as of tomorrow morning (Pacific Time).

In general, bear with me on the setup this round. I've been fighting some crap and am running at about 60% or so. I MAY evenhave one of XO's send the orders out on my behalf. So if orders come from a different source this round, don't think there's been a coup. lol

For those newcomers below is the link to the main signature ribbons. There are a couple others that are scattered around that have been a part of other missions as well.

Breakdown is as follows for the missions you have participated in:

5 missions = Red Bomb

1 mission = Black Bomb

Purple Heart = You have been a victim of the BoB Bomber Squadron (random bombings from brothers don't count for this)

SR-71 = If you participated in the mutinesque stealth mission against our no longer fearless commander Blackhorse

Ninja Star = This emblem must be earned monthly by hitting the target on the exact day assigned. If you are ate or God forbid early you must remove this emblem and try not to fail us next month (mine hit late in January so it is not in my signature right now, I sucked at life). The Commander has sole privilege to waive this requirement on a month to month basis (which only has happened for a bombing "across the pond").

Now get out there and earn your badges Captains

A comment about the ribbons, stars, bells, and whistles: There are Squadron members that use them and those that don't. It's up to the individual. The guys that don't do it seem to take the position that by displaying them they would be seen as setting themselves above other members. Guys that display them tend to view them as a fun aspect of Squadron participation, proudly earned and rightly displayed. Me? I'm different. To me they are 'advertising'. Each month the Squadron gains a member or two...maybe having noticed the bombs and stars on somebody's signature line. Good thing! Cause every month we also lose one or two due to a wide variety of reasons. So, to me, if it helps keep this ragtag outfit together as an operational entity - then it's a good thing.

Good to hear from you, Gramps. It's been a while.
