I've spent several days in the past couple of weeks helping to take care of my Sis-n-law as she recovers from another surgery - after a diagnosis of lung cancer last year. She was a bartender for 20 years...never smoked, never drank. The 2nd hand smoke in the bar caused her cancer. Yes, I know a bar likely has more smoke than I would produce by smoking indoors...and here's the big thing...how much exactly does it take to cause "C" in a loved one. If my wife, who is the center of my universe, ever developed lung cancer...and she as well has never smoked...I know it would be from MY smoking...except that I have never smoked inside, amywhere around her. And since I know that I would give my life for hers...I guess I'd have to add that I'd give up smoking inside. OH...and then there's my children! Yeah, just too much at stake to do that around where I live.
I'll just give cancer to the neighborhood cats and the damn dogs that live next door that bark all day long. There's at least a little justice in that. Heh, heh, heh.
