We have lost all the Feasts, all the festivals, we can not sit in the Cafe, they chase us night and day, they threaten us with fines so we have become hiding in parks and benches ... but we are never going to lay down our Pipes as long as the sun rises from the East!

I liked it. Had to experiment to get the proper fold and stuff method but once I got it down good stuff if you like a full on burley taste. Kind of like SWR kicked up several notches. Don't pack it too tight or it's hard to keep lit. It likes a deeper bowl as well.

A poker of course,, lol. Stick with Jamesons, cask brewed if you can find it. Went to the TD brewery when we were in Ireland a year or so ago, gave us some free samples. Not impressed.
I guess I should have checked the liquor cabinet in my camper before I found a bottle of Tullemore Dew. LOL I found two bottles of Jameson's Cask along with a bottle of Paddy's Irish Whiskey.

Recipe for wed. am. Stout coffee, i.e. cowboy coffee style, in a big mug, a jigger of the TD, 2 shots of Irish Cream. Sit back and relax.

Bru, where did you acquire the DB Sigfried? Been looking but no joy.
It seems all four of my Design Berlins were limited production models, so you have to be in the right place at the right time. The Royal Star was new/old stock I picked up at a B&M, the Prelude was a run made in 2019, Siegfried I think was from 2014 - so I wouldn't spend a lot of time looking, they're probably all gone (and mine's a keeper!).

Are you surrre you don't want to sell one,,,lol ?????

Nice bowl of SWR in a MM general this am. Got a skiff of snow overnight. Now killing time with some CS Parsons blend waiting to go pick the wife up from the dentist. Chill in the air, only 36 degrees outside.

CS 2nd Breakfast in a vintage Hilson straight grain 1/4 bent billiard with coffee in the garage nook. Just too much chill to enjoy being outside.

Amphora Burley Blend in a Keller Cob. Good medium-strength Burley, a little more depth and complexity than Edgeworth or SWR (which I also enjoy) but not quite the full-throttle experience of some of C&D's Burley blends. Good value especially when on sale, next order I'm going to try their Amphora English Blend.

More Dunhill Durbar gifted by Brunello in a Nording Rhoadie acquired from him. These two really like each other. English tea on the side. Getting cold, gonna bail soon as I finish this bowl.

Top o the morning to all ye laddies. Up a wee bit early today as I have to report in for volunteer duty at the local VA hospital in an hour. Enjoying some sutliff vanilla royale in a Pete Rosslare with Irish coffee on the side while watching the sun come up over the horizon. Tis the day for wearing of the green. A happy St. Paddys day to all and as the old Irish saying goes, may the sun be in your face, the wind at your back, and may you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows your dead.

Pre-Dinner Lineup: This morning I had some Peterson Founder's Choice in a MM Cobbitshire - a peach and mango concoction that wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Right now enjoying some Peterson Old Dublin in a Peterson Deerstalker meerschaum - much more to my liking. Before dinner I'll have some Peterson Deluxe in a Savinelli Tortuga. Hey you guys got all my Pete briars (Dalkey, Derry, Darwin, and Dublin) so maybe they'll make an appearance on the posting today! I'll see what inspires for after dinner - have four other Peterson blends to dip into. 🍀
