Back from serving lunch for homeless vets. When I got there the CEO of USVets was giving a talk to the employees. Man does that guy love to hear himself talk. Typical bureaucrat, lol
Went 10 minutes over his allowed time so by the time he shut up and I was able to start serving there were already 20 guys in line for chow. But I got through it and gave all the guys an extra helping. Not their fault the guy is a windbag. Now home and having my own Trail Boss in a Pete Derry Rustic bent apple with military mount and orange spice tea.
Thank you for doing this!
There are hundreds of homeless veterans in Ottawa, where the Federal Parliament is, suffering from severe PTSD and absolutely no one gives a damn about them.

Good morning my friends and fellow BoBs 😊
And what a gorgeous day in Ye merry olde England it is too. So much so, that it's pleasent enough to sit out in the garden without a wrap. I'm filling a Savinelli Leonardo 74/500 with a good 3 pincher of Rangers self blended Urban Cowboy. Dang Ranger my friend, you surpassed yourself on this blend buddy, I'm loving it. Watching Frodo and his failed attempts of chasing and catching Squirrels 🤣.

Some gorgeous pipes out this morning. I went with H&H in my Rattray's to go with my coffee. I've neglected it even though it is a good pipe. I must do snow today and carve a drainage channel for meltwater, I can't put it off any longer. BBL.

Had a second helping in the spirit of procrastination.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I will get some more to you soon, buddy.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching an episode of Bat Masterson guest starring William Conrad, who also directed it. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking well aged Art’s Virginia in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth Rhodesian meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. The pipe and tobacco were gifts from my late friend Art Arterburn. The blend is 80% McClelland Va.s and 20% McClelland burley. 4Noggins sold it for several years.

Loading up some Condor in a Petes Sports, before heading out for our ritual Fish n Chips and a pint down the local pub night. I hope everyone is having a great day 😊.View attachment 16393
I have never heard such a quintessential British sentence. Once again Zippo I will live my English countryside fantasy through you. Have a blast.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Esoterica And So To Bed in a straight post-1981 GBD Prehistoric 133 billiard with brass accents, the letter K stamped on the shank with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

Pre dinner having the last of my Rattrays Red Rapparee in a Nording Extra freehand dublin with toasted coconut tea. Zippo, would have joined you for fish and chips at our favorite country diner but Carole decided to make some of her chicken tortilla soup which is very good. I will have a pint in your honor, lol.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Watch City SEPC McClouxgaroux 2023 in a 1920s-30s Grant’s Pipe Shop Corinthian Deluxe 409 (made by Comoy’s) smooth brown medium bend bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
