It’s funny. I’ve gotten so used to smoking with softy bits that it feels uncomfortable when I try to smoke a pipe that doesn’t have one. Strange how we acclimate to unnecessary things in our life, so much so that their absence causes discomfort
Yes Sir. I too can not enjoy a pipe without the softy bit. One of the reasons I don't like the Peterson P-Lip. The only pipe that feels weird with a softy bit is my old Dr. Grabow Omega. That strange button on the stem is uncomfortable in my mouth. It's a shame because I really like the pipe, I've had it for years. A fellow pipe smoker actually had the same issue so he shaved down the plastic piece UNDER the button to where it's flush with the stem. I'm going to try that.

Hmm...I use softies on all my Peterson p-lips; seem to work fine for me.

Carole took this yesterday but never had a chance to post it. Charlie and Augie both wanted to sit on my lap. Augie won out so Charlie settled for laying on my legs, lol.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Finished traffic copping the ferals, and have settled down to watch an episode of McCloud.

Pipe'n Prof I have a brother and sister in Roger's, AK.
I live in Fayetteville, maybe 15 minutes south of Rogers. I’ve lived all over the country and this area is by far my favorite. Northwest Arkansas is really a special place. There are also a handful of fantastic cigar and pipe shops in the area filled with great smokes and even better people.

Mark sold a majority stake in the company in the Fall of 2020. I knew about it for months, and Mark made me an offer that was too good to refuse to buy what I wanted at cheap prices, so I did that. Among other blends, I cleaned him out on the Raccoon series and VIP, all of which had been discontinued and are my favorite D&R blends.
Thank you, sir!!! Always enjoyed meeting and talking with Mark at the monthly TAPS get togethers & the annual Pipe Show!!! All pre-Covid!! FTRPLT

On the bluff and had a bit of a airway clog, so took a long splinter and cleaned it out. Having some Prince Albert in an MM Pride raw cob with forever stem. I'm down to about a pint jar of a14 ounce can. Think after it's gone, I'll swith to a new can of Granger. I hope everyone has a great Easter.

Very familiar with the region. Next winter I am thinking of renting a place in Bella Vista.

Enjoyed a tasty tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple, and unsalted peanuts on the side. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.
