Got that Ben Wade curved Bulldog I've been eying at my local shop..... I love this pipe... This post made me want to go out and find a nice Bulldog, I'm usually a Danish freehand man....
Gotta say, I really like your pics.
Good stuff!
Thanks Harlock999, I have been doing photography for a long time now..... I'm a visual artist who uses paint, collage, found objects, mixed media, photography , etc...etc..... In my work....

Thanks again.

Erik

Harlock, I totally hate you. Well, not really, but that *is* my pipecarver crush. One of them.

Great pipe you picked up, by the way!!!

Heeschen is so very cool. Haha when I got in on Friday night he was down in the pub drinking with all the other guys. Had a chance to show him my bent P and talk about it as well.

That's another killer dog, Harlock! And it was good to "meet" you, brother :)

I'm anxiously awaiting the photos of your West Coast Pipe show score!

Heeschen's work is beautiful at least to my novice eye....I'm a huge fan of pokers/cherrywoods....take a look at these 2 from Heeschen's site...just awesome

Yowza Harlock, where do you keep finding these beauties?
What he said!  Another class act!
Thanks Riffster, and uh, Kylester!
I've actually had this one stashed for a while, and it was probably one of my first bulldogs.
It's a nice small pipe, and smokes nicely as well.
Thanks again, and hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!
Chris.

Who is the pipe maker?

It's a Becker. I could be wrong but it looks like an older one to me.
It is an older    , but I don't know how old. I've read that Paulo makes no distinction between the pipes that were made alongside Fritz, and the later solo work, and the nomenclature doesn't really change much over the years. If I ever get a chance to meet Mr. Becker, I would definitely ask him about that pipe.
