So that's how rad Davis makes all those awesome pipes ...... Santa magic.  Hmmmmm

Well Santa dropped a load down my chimney today ...  :santa:
The brown bag is 13oz of fresh roasted Tanzania Peaberry ... which I just ran out of recently.
And all the tobaccos are favorites or ones I've been wanting to try.
Many thanks St. Nick!

Santa has been doin it up right! nice haul gentlemen!

Good news, Krampus is in the right state now any ways, pretty soon some one will be getting their just dessert!

Here's a pic of the loot that Santa dropped on me.

1 Tin of FVF
1 Tin of Old Ironsides
1 Tin of Best Brown Flake
1 Tin GLP Gaslight
1 Tin Hearth and Home Black House
1 Tatuaje Noella (I think)
1 Ashton VSG (Never tried, but always wanted to!)
1 Man O' War Puro Authentico
1 Cuenca Y Blanca
1 Cumbres Puriscal

Thanks again, Santa!

OK, I'm a horrible giftee because I received this on Wednesday or Thursday and I haven't had a moment to upload my picture yet. The kindergartner has pneumonia, joy! This package however made my day! Thank you Santa for such a killer selection. I am madly in love with the aged Honey & Chocolate and you know, some pain in my butt teenager keeps snooping around my bag and the ginger chews are suddenly missing. Thank you Santa.

Just to recap my gift from yesterday; along with a very nice hand-written note, Santa dropped the following off at my doorstep (well...not the Oster or Cuisinart.  They already live here):

The pipe tobacco:
--Rattray's Professional Mixture (and VERY well aged, at that)
--H&H Larry's Blend
The LB is INCREDIBLY well-timed.  It's one of my favorite blends, and I'm all out except for a few large mason jars that i was reluctant to open up.

The snuff
--de Kralingse Macuba
--de Kralingse Latakia
I've tried both already...I LOVE the latakia already.  The Macuba, I think, is going to turn out to be one of those that's pretty good, but then gets better and better when its used repeatedly throughout the day.

The cigars
--Cigars International Legends, Purple Label
--5 Vegas, series A
--Nica Libre 1990
--Rocky Patel Freedom (I've had two of these before...VERY happy to have another one!!!)

The Goodies
--Tire levers for the bike.  Hard to imagine ever using a bike again, being that it's a blizzard outside, right now, but Spring'll be here soon enough.
--Energy chews
--A nice big bag of pipe cleaners

Very generous and I'm sure it'll get put to good use in short order!  Thanks very much, Santa!

Update time. I think we are waiting to hear from 11 of you as having received. Several are on the way and should arrive next week, if not today. A couple of you are out of town, so that would explain that. I think 3 of the 11 may have been delivered from comments posted or PM'ed. There are a couple that I have had not info on having shipped yet. I have sent a few PM's asking for info. Please let me know where we are at. Thanks!

I came down to the ham shack early this afternoon to work a bunch of guys in the 10m radio contest and to go though comments and update my spreadsheet on the Secret Santa. I got the amp tuned, made a few contacts, and fell asleep at the radio.    Guess I needed the rest.

Later

OK - before I post any photos (tomorrow I hope) I wanted to post here to say how deeply touched I am. Inside my SBox I discovered a hand made pipe and stand...absolutely ideal in every way. Perfect shape and size...and the workmanship is amazing. A loaf of BNut bread (um, no photos possible there...it was attacked upon entry & devoured...mostly). Tins of two favorites that I was totally out of and one new to me I've wanted to try for literally years...perfect. Cool fabric on the pipe bag too. Then five fat bundles of cleaners (with me down to one pack on hand) and a big bag of stem protectors (that I've been swapping between pipes lately as I had NONE) are like manna. Then there's an array of different kinds of high class peppermint candies... Wow! The only thing he didn't include was a leather wing chair, ottoman and fireplace!

I can only add that this SBox, with my Secret Santa's obvious attention to detail and overwhelming generosity (and believe me, these gifts are the nicest and given with the purest spirit of giving that I'm going to get from ANYONE) have really MADE Christmas for me.

Brilliant work on the pipe rest there Santa! All you ladies and guys seem to be good with your hands at making stuff.  :santa:

Update time again.  A couple packages are shipping tomorrow.  That should put them where they need to be by midweek.  Hopefully by Friday we can be wrapped up this year.

A couple packages shipped in the past two days.  Look for those Monday and Tuesday hopefully.

A couple folks are out of town.  We trust that those are delivered ok as I got responses that those have shipped, or some other confirmation.

Here is a list of those that I think are still waiting to receive from their Secret Santa's.  If you are not on this list, let me know ASAP so I can follow up on comments, tracking, etc.  I have sent bad addresses out in the past, so I can make errors.  (Luckily, the Postal Service is smarter than I was and fixed them with minor delays.)

So I think everything is on the way or will be tomorrow.  Again, let me know if I missed someone.   :santa:

My Wife is going in for Surgery on Tuesday, I might be MIA for a couple days, I apologize to my Secret Santa before hand if there is a delay in reporting to the board.

Nothing Major, just some "girl" stuff due to the burden of child birth she is getting taken care of , but has to spend a night in the hospital, and then has a weight restriction on how much she can lift nothing more than a gallon of milk.

I am going to have to watch her like a hawk, as she is a western PA hill billy, who doesn't know how to ask for help, and would drag her own deer home before asking any MAN to help

First off, hope all goes well with your wife, BC--I hate the doctor's office, even when it's minor.

Second, really impressed by all the posts made while I was away: nicely done, Santas, nicely done indeed!

Finally, came back to find my Santa had struck--not a bad way to return home...

My Xmas bomb consisted of five samples of different English bulk blends; had to run out again so don't have them on hand but will make a more detailed post, with pic, later. Suffice to say in the short term: thanks, Santa, and happy holidays, everyone!

Thanks for all the well wishes!

Santa has arrived weirdly, he usually shows up everyday at noon, wife said he was here at noon, then I here someone stomping on my porch at 3:30 pm I thought it was my son, then I heard him drive off, I look out the window and see it is the mailman and some boxes on my porch! So my Secret Santa must have some pull with the postal service to have him come back out to make sure I received this WONDERFUL gift!

A gorgeous Scottie Piersels Pipe!

A partially blasted Rhodesian, with a cumberland half saddle

and an 8oz bag of my favorite Cherry blend McClellands M-27 three cherries

Thanks Santa!

Here is what I got, a 8oz bag of 1-q, a tin of briar fox, university flake, capstan yellow, two packs of cleaners, and a bamboo tamper.

Thanks brothers,
love the sending and receiving of bombs.

Oh and sorry for the crappy pic, snapped it quick with my phone.

My NotSoSecretSanta came through with flying colors the other day.  As the postmark was from Oak Ridge, TN, I thought it was that plutonium I ordered a while back (left over form the WWII Manhattan Project) but it was even better.  Everything was neatly wrapped.

But it got better as the wrapping went flying.

Most of the foods are already gone, the tobaccos nicely put to rest for a while, and the coffee will be used every Sunday for the next few weeks.

Thanks ever so much to the long arm of the law.

Natch
