OK...so now it’s snowing here. Nice. Puts a snow delay on take off of up to one day. Should still be OK. Was initially planning to lift off today but the tarot cards show that going tomorrow will yield the same likelihood of timely arrival.

Know that if you drive with snow on the roads around here you’re taking your life in your hands. Too many hills, too many idiots.

Engines warned up cargo bay loaded, ready to go. Just waiting on the green light from tower

Look guys...

1. if you live in a rural area where your mail takes an extra day to get to a hub facility

2. if you live in an area where ground transportation has been or might well be delayed due to weather or road conditions

3. if you’ve noticed that your flights are taking a day longer than other pilots seem to

GO AHEAD AND TAKE OFF TODAY!

Use good judgement and do what you deem the wisest.

Hey BB...drove by your town this past weekend, going from San Jose down to Carmel Valley. Great weather while we were there. Spring definitely in the air.

I'll add to Blackhorse's words of wisdom to also consider the target location. Headwinds and tailwinds play factors as well!

Here we go! Once more into the breach, dear friends!

BH, Glad you had the opportunity to soak up some of the SoCal sunshine. If you're ever in my neighborhood at a future date, and have a little time to kill, I'd be happy to fill your pipe and your belly. :D

OK...drove through near blinding gales of snow...but made it to the airfield.  Crew did the last few chechoff items, topped off the fuel, sprayed de-icer all over the wings and tail section...and they’re off, storm clouds behind them, into the rising sun.

Tracking submitted.

Tracking numbers are coming in! We should have everyone accounted for by tomorrow!

Recon has target painted, ordinance inbound. ETA Thursday!

Let's get em folks!
