Thanks Guy! I know that many colleagues think that Yo Yo Ma´s Bach is too romantic and many mean there´s too much reverberation. I let them talk - I love this record.

Harlock - my goodness - thanks for sharing "Badfinger". I really didn´t know them. These haircuts are terrific!

Neither do I. There are so many living colours in Bachs music…

The following shows Aimards Art Of The Fugue recordings in Vienna. The record is even more terrific, than any Badfinger-haircut could be:

My pleasure! Badfinger is one of my favorite bands. To my ears, they are like The Beatles, minus John Lennon's genius, sarcasm and bitterness.

Schacht, I checked out some of the photos on your site. I especially loved the irony of this one:

Irony? I just recently decided to work a little harder on my repertoire :)
Isn´t it always helpful to prepare something, that really impresses the audience?

This performance sounds remarkably like mockingbirds, and traffic going by...catchy.

I was amused because the photo suggests a studio recording version of 4'33".... awesome!

4'33" loses something in a digital recording... you hvae to hear it live, or on vinyl.

Guy, It's also a tune from the movie soundtrack of "The Last Outlaw," starring Mickey Rourke and an all star cast, from back in 1993. It's an outstanding western and in my opinion one of Rourke's best performances.

Thanks, you hit of course the point - but what I still like the most, is to play it live on the drums. You know - on a really big drumset.

Especially the older recordings are sometimes just spectacular.

Thanks a lot. I really like the sound on this album, and "Country Girls". I can´t say, that I fully understood the greatness of Roxy Music until I saw "Lost in Translation" in 2003. That was late? Yes it was, but somehow the proof, that "More Than This" is in fact indestructible, has been convincing, respectively touching -
and so I fell in love with this version:
