Great songs, but easily one of the best sounding albums I've ever heard. Can't remember who produced it, but it is an ear treat!

It´s not just his great left hand, that quys left hand seems to be inspired.

Thank you for letting us know. Very, very interesting. I´m a musician myself, and I enjoyed your Bach recordings very much.

Kind of a different song. Stumbled across this by chance...

This thread is such an inspiration! Thanks a lot everybody!

I actually never met her, but I think I´m in love with Carolin Widmann:

I´m in love with Robert Schumann as well - Carolin Widmanns ECM recordings of his Violin Sonatas are beautiful, even if there´s too much reverb.

Thanks for reminding me of Szabo. I know that record has to be somewhere around here - must have misplaced it.

I´m listening to this here, while I´m searching:

Gainsbourg is magnificent!
Szabo is easily one of my top favorites, as a complete musician, and as a guitarist. His logic confounds and delights me!

I've been listen to Ambient Trance on Pandora so far this morning. Not my usual listening, just felt like it. I'm sure I'll be back on Breaking Benjamin this afternoon.

Thank you, Harlock - I love that record too. It´s so impressive what a strong impact Jim Hall has been here in Berlin since that 1975 recording. By the way - Daniel Humair is still one of the most important influences to me as a drummer.

But since I almost adore Don Thompson, this one´s my favorite live recording:

And of course I´m not able to reply on a topic concerning Jim Hall without mentioning "Undercurrent":

Undercurrent is a great record! Bill Evans and Jim Hall, what a formidable team. For me, "Interplay" is hard to beat.

Great shuffle, Dutch! Thanks for sharing this.

When it comes to Bill Evans, "Interplay" is a real milestone to me - on one level with "The Route", "Roll Call" or "Takin´Off".
This morning (thanks to this inspiring thread) I rediscovered this one:
