I've passed the first third of this bowl of 1970s Heine's Blend in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega military mount with a nickel band and a black vulcanite stem with a p-lip. I always smoked this blend in this pipe, so I'm following an old tradition.

Enjoyed a tasty snap dragon apple, and am nearing the last third of this bowl of year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Navy Flake in a post-1964 black sandblasted medium bend Parker Super BriarBark 109 group 4 bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and have passed the half way of this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Tradition 305 apple military mount with a sterling silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Tomato and a cat nip sock.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Tomato the Brave stayed inside until Sam chased him away. After we put her and the scampers in lock down, I went outside to see if Tomato was around. It rained all evening, and he was hiding somewhere, but the rain had stopped, and he ran in as fast as he could. I dried Tomato off, and fed him and Daisy the Feral Princess, who was already inside. Then, Tomato decided to fight the catnip sock m’lady made. After that, Abner the Eager showed up, and I let him inside to eat so Harry the Hairy wouldn’t stop him from eating. After that, he played with the same sock. I hated putting him outside, but I couldn’t take a chance of him spraying because I know he smelled the scampers.

I’ve known Tomato since 2018, and I must say that in all that time, yesterday and today was the happiest and hungriest that I have ever seen him. Those who have followed his story know why.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I may end the day with this smoke.

Decided to have another smoke, and picked year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was my first Sasieni. Bought it at my local Tinderbox for $9.95.

LOL! Shameless...

And a very good morning my friends and fellow BoBs 😊.
And a beautiful morning it is too. The sun has his hat on, theres not a single cloud in a deep blue sky, the birds are inspecting the unclaimed nest boxes. And I'm about to light up and enjoy a bowl of Rangers Urban Cowboy in a Pete Xmas 22. This pipe was once owned by Father Christmas lol.
Have a great day my friends 😊

Too much noise and humidity woke me up, and I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of KBV Mr. Christian's Haunted Virginia 2022 in a straight, black sandblasted 1970s Comoy’s Mark-2 G * 6 (4) bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. It's going to be another rainy day.

Up and out for my morning ritual: a book, a cup of coffee (Folger's Colombian today), and KBV Burley Morning Pipe in my Jansen's N.O. bent volcano with saddle stem.

Eutychus, did you finish the Schaeffer book? I just finished Everlasting Man. As usual, Chesterton has something mind-blowing in every paragraph. :)

I am 3/4 way through vol 2 of the 5 vol Complete Works of Schaeffer (7 books so far). I'm glad to hear that you appreciate GKC. I've read The Man Was Thursday, but finally have time to start reading more of him.
