Not bad. Very light smoke in every way. Bold, it isn't. But I kinda like it for that lightness, though I do prefer a blend with more strength. It's a change of pace smoke; I could never smoke it regularly, but I've certainly had worse. Unobtrusive.

Btw, I'm smoking Erin Go Bragh in a 2013 slight bend grain etched briar Rekamepip Volcano with a walnut shank.

Just opened a 28 yo tin of Murray blended 965 that I bought with some other Dunhill 'bacs when the only B&M we had here in town closed up shop. It's a VASTLY mellowed blend now than it was back then my tatse buds are telling me ! This one's in a #40 S&R st. bulldog straight grain. I wonder if the "new" stuff will age as well ??

Sunday Morning, a cloudy and raining day today....sitting by myself in the backyard with a full bowl of 1-Q in Stanwell Porker and a hot, black coffee....

Blue Danube in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.95) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega.
