I just got six tins of Sutliff Private Stock blends to review. I'm starting off with Man's Best Friend in a 2003 matte finish Karl Erik freehand.
Of all the Sutliff I've tried, I think I've liked that best so far

I can see why. I really liked the first bowl I smoked. It came highly recommended to me and the first bowl did not disappoint. Now, I'm smoking CD Blend in a smooth briar calabash shaped Butz-Choquin Maitre Pipier JR Fait Main with a horn ferrule.

Top Shelf in a smooth straight late 1970s Tinderbox Selected Grecian Briar Dublin.

Tinder Box Unique short-stemmed pipe made in England, filled with Timberline Cavendish mix from Stag Tobacconist.  I'm practicing blowing circles as I write this.

Charlemagne in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.95) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega.

MacBaren Vanilla Cream in a straight 1979 MM Legend.

Some after dinner smoky/sweet, McC's Virginia Woods in a BBB "Thorneycroft" shell finished Pot I got back in the 70's.

Balkan Luxury Blend 957 in a full bend black pebble finish 2001 Rinaldo Lithos YY8 Titania Silver Line egg.

...final pipe of the day...Capstan Flake (Yellow) in a commissioned smooth Dublin Canadian...
