If the name/picture didn't give it away, I'm a conductor for a smaller railroad in Wisconsin.
 
High school teacher for the last 19 years. Currently teach physics & science. Also have taught computer science and math. Started out wanting to be an electrical engineer but found it confining after a few years.
 
I'm a mechanic by trade but since the big lay off,,, I HAVE FOUND MY SELF SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING ALLTOGETHR REALLY FAST ...

I'm an aspiring writer. Read that as: I do whatever crap job is available at the time (currently pizza delivery) and cross my fingers that things will get better 'once I've sold a book'.
 
I was a Teamster in the private section,a.c./heating technician until I became sick 12 years ago.Now the state won't let me back to work due to the nature of the illness I had back then.
 
I have been an Airframe Structural Mechanic, an unlicensed electrician, a Junior Network Administrator, a Web Designer, most recently back to unlicensed electrician, with construction mostly on it's back in the current economy, I'm now back in school. I'm seeking an AS degree in AutoCAD/Drafting and hope to get on the 'front end development' of the construction money cycle, instead of the 'build back end'.
 
I guess I'll throw in here.

I am a consultant with a large company providing operations management services in hospitals (mainly) and large companies all over the USA. We focus on environmental services, facilities management, and business and industry services. I'm currently at a small hospital managing environmental services and supporting a wide variety of activities at the hospital. I really enjoy the infection control aspects of my job.

I love this job and plan on doing it for a while.
 
I am an emergency medical technican with a large city Fire Department. No smoking allowed in the ambulance... :lol!:
 
We had a scandal here in Chicagoland with ambulance company while ago,
one of the EMT's was fired for something and he ratted out his buddy for undressing and fondling an unconscious black womens genitals while transporting her from an auto
accident.I guess curiousity got the better of him.She sued of course. :p

I am taking the LSAT again in June.
I took it in 2001 and got (what I thought )was a fairly high score.

I was a dot-commer in the late 90's / early 2000's - started a wireless consulting company / .com

Now I direct the regional operations of a publicly traded information technology services consulting firm.

Very cool. I work with a couple EMTs who are doing facility operations while in school.
 
I am currently in my twenty-first year as a "Lawman". I have been on the County, State, and currently Federal end of Law Enforcement. My primary job is working as the Primary Tactical Instructor for my agency. I also do "Personal Protection" & Tactical / Firearms Training on the side. I'm in a place in my life where I can actually say I love my job. I am glad to be "off the beat" and enjoy my Monday to Friday schedule and really like having EVERY SINGLE HOLIDAY OFF!!!! America is truly a WONDERFUL country! Stay Safe!
 
OK, I'll finally chime in too. I'm a shrink. :clown: Really-worked as a psychotherapist in community mental health centers for some 30 "odd" years. :lol: earl
 
I'm a full time cop for the past 24 years and specialise in motor vehicle collisions for now. Used to be riot cop, VIP protection, canine trainer etc. Part time knifemaker since 2000 and member of the SA knifemakers' guild. Hobbyist pipemaker since some time last year but like knifemaking this is also threatening to become a fulltime proffesion.
Oh, and co-owner of a small horseriding school. My wife is the other partner :( .

I am in the Recruiting business. My wife and I have two businesses in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area. One is an Executive Recruiting company and the other is a Temporary Staffing company. Yes. There really are jobs out there!

Don't feel bad. I started out as a Chef, moved into car sales, and now I work for a car dealership consultant and trainer.

Every time the boss asks what I'm doing, I respond, "Selling you." Everybody in the office thinks that's hilarious for some reason.
 
I am a process tech engineer. Mostly do pulp and paper along with bio fuels. Basically take mass flow balance sheets generated by chemical engineers and turn them into real world schematics and detail designs using computer modeling tools such as AutoPLANT and SmartPLANT.

in todays world one must have more than one job. I am retired army I work for Homeland security as a armed guard, I make pipes I sell on my web site www.hesterpipes.com and I wrote two books one of which is on my passion my love my pipe. Oh yea I also make money the old fassion way I married into it just kidding :D
