Nothing anymore use to be part of a group that managed clean water and waste water plants and took a buy out. My wife worked for the state of Connecticut we both retired early sold our house in Connecticut and moved about 50 miles west of Buffalo we have a log home on lake Erie.

I was in logisitics and transportation, managed a team of truck drivers. Location went out of business so we were all laid off. Back in the job hunt with the rest of the unemployed!

I've been in the automotive body repair field for about the last 15 yrs. I've been at the same shop for the last 3 yrs. I started doing body work cause that's what I love. But, about a year and half ago we lost our painter and I was asked if I wanted the position. So, I'm now the painter at Total Quality Paint & Body in Anniston, Alabama. I have to say I love my job and enjoy going to work every day.

I'm a computer forensics specialist with the Canada Revenue Agency (our version of the IRS) in the Criminal Investigations Directorate. Started out as a tax-fraud investigator (accounting degree), went back to school part time and got 'edgeekated' in Information Security at Royal Holloway and been doing my current gig since 1992.

Been with the "firm" for 37 years and now looking to retire shortly. I hope to spend more time to pick up my guitar(s) again after I retire.

@Oliver

I picked up a documentary on iTunes the other day called Reclaiming the Blade you may be interested in.

To anyone who says that we aren't a diverse bunch... a Canadian tax authority has got to be the last person you'd expect on a tobacco community!

Even after years aboard, I learn something new and dig this place a little more.

A bit behind, but I might as well add :p

I'm a networks analyst for the Dept. of Defense.

I'm a former nuclear physicist, F1 race car driver, Antarctic explorer, Air Force test pilot, Playboy centerfold photographer, and NSA supercomputer designer who's now gone undercover for the CIA as a pipe repairman in the international hotbed/political intrigue capital of the world... western North Dakota. Why the switch? It's so much more exciting than that earlier stuff.

LOL.

Not gonna lie, I got to the Antarctic explorer and was like (Wow, this guy has done alot!) until it dawned on me :p

An old friend of mine is from N. Dakota. Beautiful region of the country. Bitter cold winters, but well worth it.

I own MB Classic Sports Car in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are a service and restoration shop which specializes in vintage Ferrari, Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz automobiles.

I founded the company in 2003 after finishing b-school. Rather than go into banking, my original intent, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my lifelong passion and haven't looked back since.

Stop by and say hi and to enjoy a pipe and some wonderful cars if you're ever in the Cincinnati area!

Coming late to this thread. Can't believe but it looks like I am the only Aggie!!

I have worked in agriculture for a little over 30 years, originally as the Canadian agronomist for a large fertilizer distributor, then moved to USA as president of a small fertilizer manufacturing company. I am now the USA business manager for a precision agriculture company, we provide computer software and consulting services that provide prescriptions for optimum amounts of seed, fertilizer, pesticides and other products used in farming. All based on maps we generate from satellites. High-tech farming.

I'm retired from 33 years with Sears. (Now sadly K-Mart). I currently work with computer repair and image configuration. I love it! 8-5 M-F.

I am the manager of a tribology laboratory focusing on aeronautical components. I have been in this field since 1997. It has led me around the world at times, and provides for just enough travel to tame my, now on the decline, wander lust.

I'm in the Wine Industry in South Africa. Awesome.
