Passing the half way mark on this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. So far, the Braves are choking as I suspected they would.

Smoking a Bari Wiking freehand with Capt black original and an 8 o`clock k-cup. I got stuck earlier, during a home depot run. My car refused to start,I had to have it towed. I needed a new battery. My God, when did batteries get so damn expensive! 300 dollars for a battery, and it`s only guaranteed for 3 years! I remember a top of the line battery being under 100 dollars, not to long ago...
I had the same shock recently. Decided on an Interstate. We'll see how it goes.

Where did you get it? I got a battery for my Ram 1500 from Costco about 3 months ago for about $150. I used to buy Sears Die Hards with 6 year warranty for around $100. No such thing anymore.

Good evening my friends. After a nice early dinner of IN-N-OUT burgers enjoying some Esoterica Margate in a Charaton made Chippendale straight dublin with oolong tea. EZ and Swede I feel your pain. I used to get batteries for my Harleys from Batteries Plus for $60. Last time I changed the one on the Road King $165. Yikes, more than double. Bastards.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught blue catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm passing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I just had to replace the battery on MY road king. About the same price. I asked about the warranty since the old battery wasn't that old, and was told the motorcycle battery warranty is only 6 months at O'Reillys. They were shocked mine lasted a year (almost to the day). My pickup takes 2 batteries, and cost about $300 to replace. I miss things not being so expensive.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Dodgers-D-Backs game that I recorded. Watched the other two playoff games.

Had a present waiting on the porch when I got home today! My PAD and TAD always act up this time of year. I have some yello-boles I'm refurbing but I had to buy this one when I saw it, a mint medico gold-crest dublin! For $35 I pulled the trigger the second I saw it lol.

I can count on one hand the number of unsmoked/new pipes I've ever bought, restoring the majority of my collection, but it's nice to get one in the mail and smoke it right away! Loaded it with some Bagpiper's dream to enjoy while I grill shrimp and chicken thighs.

Half way through this bowl of year 2012 Carter Hall in an undated 1970s straight smooth dark brown H. Jones Ltd. Easy Loader (Dunhill shop made by Parker) 286 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Haven't smoked this pipe lately although it is a durn good smoker. I'll end the day with this smoke.

Good morning my friends 😊.
Have a visit from Nurse Ratchet due today. She normally fuss'es around me on Tuesday's, but is coming again today just to mess up my week, with my annual covid and flu jabs.
So I'm going to load up a very large carved bowled Lillehammer GL, with St. Bruno just to make my smoke den extra "pipey" just to make her fussing worth while 🤣🤣
