I have often heard of this shape referred to as an author. Just my two cents worth. The main thing being, if that's what floatin' yer boat lately, smooth sailing to you!! KRG

    New from Wisconsin

Hey Moose, I never got your PM's. My mistake.Bought a new computer about 6 months ago, and never changed my email address on the board. I'm not too familiar with how this stuff works, either. Probably best to just send a regular message for now, until we figure it all out.

    New from Wisconsin

Hello Moose, from a fellow Wisconsinite. I hail from the Fond du Lac area, so I guess that makes us neighbors. Do your law enforcement duties include anything with Horicon Marsh? I am quite familiar with the area. ( Relatives living in Waupon ). In fact, my cousin used to be the Sherriff in Fond...

    Tarus .357 lever?

I currently own 3 Taurus Firearms. Granted these are all hand guns, however I have found their QC to be excellent. Taurus Arms have supplied the vast majority of sidearms for the worlds military, and police use for years, until the semi-auto revolution. Many reviews have put their QC on par with...

First of all, due to different expansion rates, it could crack the bowl, and secondly, it can hinder the coloration process by absorbing a lot of the oils, etc. that do the coloring. I use a piece of 150 grit sandpaper, rolled into a tube shape about 3/8...

Anyone remember the old Edwards Pipe shops from the 70s/80s?

Edwards house blends are still available online at www.edwardsfc.com out of Fort Collins, CO. ( Including Scottish Moor ). They still have pipes, but not the selection of yesteryear.

    decent quality everyday pipes

Hi Roogles, check at www.outwesttobacco.com. He has a nice selection of Hugo International Series ( HIS ) pipes for around $30. I have four of them, and they all smoke great, are lightweight, and look pretty nice! They are listed on the site under economy briars. Happy puffing. :)
