Here's Simenon with a shape I don't think I've seen before before in the Charatan catalog. Similiar to the skater, but less severe. And sporting a tapered stem. Any idea what shape name/number this is?

funny-- i did the same thing a few months ago. (mistakenly ordered Mixture instead of Navy). Opened some up the other day and had the same reaction. I agree, try some :)

i once bought an apple-shape from ebay. when i received it, i noticed the inside was scarred with these vertical cracks. someone must have smoked the devil out it... But after smoking it for a while the cracks filled in with the cake and now it's a great smoker.
