Hey guys, its been a while. I didn't see anything here about this contest that David at tobacco days put together... So I thought I'd give y'all the heads up. It should be a good bit of fun...
is anyone else having difficulty getting these haicuts? they have been mostly scarce in the past five decades, via my stylist or my usual salons. is there anything I can do on my end to resolve?
i love picking up old crusty pipes and rescuing them from neglect... and i have a thing for old britwood... specifically silver halmarked GBDs. so i'm pretty happy today as i just finished spiffing up these two. the first is a 9242 dating to 1950 and the second is a 9465 from 1954.

i just finished up this lovat tonight... and thought i'd share a couple of pics. the stem really gave me hell... i almost thew the thing against the wall probably a dozen times. and in the end there certainly are plenty issues with the thing, but hell... its finally done, i made plenty of...
