WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY $500 OR MORE FOR THIS?

Aesthetic appeal is so personal and varied, but a simple cylinder with a short stem for a pipe, I would say does not have great appeal to the majority of pipers. It looks hard to hold in hand and well, Klunky.... Man I could buy some fine pipes for $500 clams....

    What are you snuffing?

Well, Huffelpuff, I hate shipping charges buying snuff from outside the U.S. so I started grinding pipe baccy in a little blade coffee grinder. I use essential oils and spices for scents... Cajeput, cedar, lime, and jasmine are among my fave scents....Strong Latakia baccy works well. Fennel and...

I reside just outside Old Bisbee in the San Jose area 3 miles from Mexico.... I like it a lot. We are a mile high, so it usually hangs at 17% humidity cept for the Monsoons....Rarely hits 100 F. Relatively low home prices & rent. Cmon down.....

    $15 Peterson?!

I would be careful with self hardening clay for a fix. I seem to remember that most have toxic ingredients. Pipe mud might work....IMHO....

Gentlemen, good morning...I live in southeastern Arizona, have been piping almost 50 years, and am smoking mostly Superior Navy Flake in cobs and briars. Congrats on your nice looking Forum. Hope to add to it when I can. I also grind my own snuff from pipe tobacco. ;)
