Upland bird hunting. I aways have a pipe and pouch in my vest. One of those simple pleasures: A bird in the bag, a good shotgun in the crook of an arm, and a pipe on the way back to the truck. Ahh!

I'm smoking Peretti Blend W in a straight black sandblasted circa 1950s Comoy’s Peterson’s made for Peterson, Ltd. in Wisconsin billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching a Torchy Blane movie.

Starting the day with Charring Cross in an MM Diplomat, I have Peterson Flake, Deluxe Navy Rolls and G&H DVC in the rotation but I keep reaching for the Latakia blends!

Part of my new TAD order from CS. Choctaw in the huge Don Carlos 2 note half bent dublin. Good stuff. Like CH on steroids but smoother. Can't say it's better than my own Urban Cowboy but just as good, and different. Dark roast coffee with.

Not far from finishing this bowl from a freshly opened first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.
