Tried this recently myself... Very refreshing!

My current favorites:
Boddingtons
Ballast Point Sea Monster imperial stout (13%ABV) :drunken:
And Anchor Steam is always good

That could be quite a long list.

Grøn Tuborg
Carlsberg Hof
Grolsch
St. Pauli Girl
Guinness Draught served in a pub
Spaten Oktoberfest
SamuelSmith Taddy Porter
Einbecker Ur-Bock
Samuel Adams Octoberfest, Chocolate Bock, and Winter Lager

skål & Bottoms Up!

It's odd that, being very much a wine snob (for my own drinking, I'm not one of those who sneers at what others like to drink), I'm v much the opposite when it comes to beer: Schlitz, Yuengling, Pabst, although I won't say no to a porter when available.

It takes a certain mood for me to go after an Imperial Stout, but when that mood hits, nothing else will do. If you like the style, give Three Floyd's Dark Lord a shot (original or bourbon barrel aged...both will knock your socks off).

I'm pretty basic in brews - Yuengling Traditional Lager -draft preferred, but will imbibe the bottled stuff with alacrity as well.

Problem in PA is that one usually must buy beer by the case and a case of my favorite beer is about the last thing I need hanging around to tempt me.

Fixing his time machine.

This just happens to be the time line that the @#$%&*! thing broke down. I told Odin I wasn't ready for this. :drunken:

If drinking this selection is what helped get him to 1218 years old, I'd say 'Keep On Doing What Your Doing'... 8)

OK...you were born on Dec. 18th, or...December of 1918. :clown:

No, it would take 2nd or 3rd grade math skills, and most of us aren't up to that anymore

Ya, well I have to take off my shoes in order to cypher. Jethro Bodine taught me that trick.

I somewhere have a recipe for an onion soup that uses 16oz of stout as the stock. I've wanted to make it for years, but I forget about it when I go to the liquor store.
