Another KBV Golf Fore Glory! morning in this bent Viking with a tall bowl. I get really good, tasty, and slow smokes out of this with most anything. I am using the air pocket packing method and a hemp wick to light these days. That thin wick flame allows me to get right along the inner edge of the bowl to provide a wide ember.

I've been watching for this tobacco to be offered, and one site says it's been delayed until August 26-tomorrow. Reminder is set to check for it. Glad you are reviewing.

I was going by the TR description for that blend. The Sutliff site also claims it has St. James perique, and that would be a nice surprise to be able to obtain if still true. I've contacted them to confirm.

I suspect it is the PS, but want to ask the person at the shop who orders it. I'd wanted to try the PS also, so glad I found it. It's whetted my appetite for latakia.
I've just spoken to Andrew, a very helpful fellow, who confirmed that this Sutliff blend does indeed use St. James perique. I'll likely be ordering a 1/2 pound today. He also said Whimsical is supposed to hit online sellers tomorrow 8-26-22. Happy stocking up BoB's !

Half way through this bowl of year 2015 Mac Baren Virginia #1 in a straight black 1925 Dunhill patent shell Canadian 33 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Just posted my review of Sutliff Whimsical at TR.

Did a second set of walking reps as it started sprinkling on my last lap, and am close to finishing this bowl of unreleased Sutliff VaPer in a 1970's straight rusticated black Savinelli Estella 915 KS dublin with a flared top and pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Smoking a Beraldi bent brandy with MB Navy flake and a quick decaf k-cup to hold me over until dinner time. I am having a tough time trying to figure out which pipes I want to put on e-bay...
Why not put them on here. Give your BoBs first shot and don't have to pay Ebay???
