    Stanwells AGAIN

You nailed it. The fact of the matter is that a pipe collector is a pipe collector. In addition, a Dr. Grabow is a pipe, just like a pipe made by Bo Nordh is a pipe. Proper engineering is something objective. We can quantify it. I also believe that the carbon cake is also a great equalizer...

    What are you smoking?

Some Rothschilds Luxury Smoking Mixture (made by Sobranie, out of production for a long time) in a Castello Old Antiquari (G) Hungarian to celebrate my installation last night as Senior Deacon of my Lodge.

Can't/don't smoke in your own house. Because...?

I just prefer my home to have a neutral smell. I smoke pipes in the car, outside, etc. I also have a standalone workshop on my property that I'll use as a pipe den from time to time.

Gawith Commonwealth Mixture in a Rolando Negoita full-bent walnut.

Lane Ltd. Orlik Dunhills Distribution Slack

I worked at a tobacconist in 1996/97 and wish I had stockpiled the 965. It was my grandfather's blend of choice throughout his life, and it was the first I ever smoked. I have since moved on to what I consider blends that are better suited to me (i.e., Margate), but I'd love a couple dozen tins...

Lane Ltd. Orlik Dunhills Distribution Slack

Well, at least the tobacco industry remains as convoluted as ever. :joker:

    What are you smoking?

I enjoyed the hell out of some Margate in a 1971 Dunhill Don this morning. This afternoon I'll finish off the Balkan Flake in a full-bent Radice Silk Cut that I started yesterday.

    C&D Bow-Legged Bear

You are correct, sir. Exhausted Rooster is an interesting choice for a name. Perhaps it was selected after a marathon love-making session.

    C&D Bow-Legged Bear

Bow Legged Bear is probably my favorite C&D blend.

    My reviews on tobaccoreviews.com

It's been a while since I read through some of my notes on tobaccoreviews.com (I post reviews under the name bigblends, in case you're curious). This one is among the most fun: Samuel Gawith X Blend 9/12/2006 Unfortunately, I received a very generous sample of this in an exchange with a...

    Becker pipes

I have a Fritz-era rusticated oliphant that smokes like a dream. You cannot go wrong with a pipe made by Paolo. Keep an eye on pulversbriar.com for some fair prices on estate Beckers.

    Question?

Another trick is to take a deep breath, and just before you reach lung capacity, use the last little bit of room to take the snuff. Then you can train yourself to use only that much force.
