MB,

You are a bon vivant for sure.

:D
Maybe NOT,,,,,,,,,

That is a Record CHANGER,,,,,,,,

YOU would never do THAT!

I figured you for a manual turn table with a fifteen pound platter. Direct belt drive.

Ok, busted. I've got a Bang & Olufsen TX2 not a bad little table but your right not a record changer, But I do like Martini's for sure....

NAD 533
...Belt drive
...High torque synchronous motor
...Miniature ball bearings in tone arm
...High density non-resonant base
...Magnetic anti-skate
...One piece aluminum pressure cast tone arm
...Goldring Elektra cartridge

supposedly acoustically "dead"

Also,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,YOU would NEVER set a turntable on top of a speaker,,,,,,,,,,,,,Would you?

Cool Carlos, I once had a Dual 1210. Very awesome machine.

MB,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that's another record changer,,,,,,,,,,,,,,can't talk yourself out of this one.

The Mrs. looked mighty fine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,way back when.

What next?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a stack of 45's?

T, No need to be humbled. I still not convinced that the TX2 is The turntable. Its got some cool space age features and great sound but the cartridge is proprietary and crazy expensive. I'd love to audition an old Thorens or Dual or maybe an Empire.

Keep the records spinning and the pipes smoking...

Just as I like my first bowl of the day to be mellow, I like my first music of the day mellow. So, listen to classical in the am. Since I do not have a huge collection of music, I tend to rely on internet radio-you can get a wonderful selection of it in all genres that way while not spending a penny. :D Earl
