Interesting concept of "a place to smoke my pipe"....

I'm 35 years old, grew up in a smoking family. The cigars and pipes jumped a generation due to cigarettes and fell right on me and my younger brother. (my grandfathers smoked cigars and pipes, my father and mother smoke cigarettes) <----for those not able to add 2+2.... :) Any ways, I have...

    Forced myself to like Latakias

I will agree with the idea of being a smoke slut!!! I smoke mostly Aromatics, but love a good bowl of Northwoods from time to time, Ive bought in total a few pounds of different tobaccos with the idea that in a few years Ill like them. Havnt even opened or tried some of them either. Cigars...

    Favorite ring gauge/cigar size?

Typically it depends on the occasion. What I am eating or drinking. But if I just want to smoke I usually grab a 5 x 50 or 48. That being said. During the summer months when my pipes are at rest I like bigger. A crown and coke and a huge maduro is a great evening (and buzz). Lately my tastes...

    Finally got a Boswells pipe

Thanks Guys, yes the pipe is a great smoke, I will be buying more of his work. He was a true gentleman and treated me like he already knew me when my girlfriend and I were looking around. A true pleasure doing business with him.

Question for people with large cellars

I don't have a large cellar comparatively speaking but I cellar anything I don't plan on smoking. The idea (for me) is to let it age until a time I can appreciate the smoke. I am still a new pipe smoker. The baccy I put away is usually 95 percent of what ever I have bought. I always buy more...

a question for the more experienced smokers

Ok first, I have been smoking pipes for about a 2 years. Long enough to have some favorites and started to cellar some as well. During my trip to Boswells I picked up over 2 pounds of tobacco in total. I have placed the non aromatics in ball jars for safe keeping. But Now I have collected...
