    Latest Pipe Rack find

I've been trying to find a good wall mount pipe rack at the fleamarket by me. But whenever I think I see one, it ends up being for sugar spoons  :(

A good lighter at a great price?

As Joshoowah said, I just hope it doesn't break on you! I prefer matches the most, but obviously they're not always feasible. I tried a zippo for a bit (regular chimney style) and it works, but it imparts wayyy too much taste into the bowl. I did recently get a nimrod at a fleamarket for 5$...

    forgotten

Just frustrating is all. But as Jefe said, you can just throw it back in the tin. I forgot to transfer the last bowlful or two of Sutliff's French Quarter to a mason jar from the tin. I still have it, but it's bone dry. I could probably rehydrate, but its so inexpensive I should probably just...

    Hello BoB

Don't worry about getting flamed. When it comes to pipes, its so subjective that one man's penzance is another man's prince albert. Enjoy your sampling. If you live another 100 years you just might be able to try everything thats out there! Welcome aboard!

    Welcome from Canada

Pipes are most defintely all about relaxation. Why rush a pipe when you can sit back and smoke slow! Welcome!

    Firedance is on its way...

The more I smoke flakes, the more I'm deciding to just rub them out. I tried the fold and stuff at first, and it allows your flakes to burn forever, but if it doesn't want to stay lit, theres so little you can do. Rubbing out and packing a little loose seems to be the magic for me. But try out...

    The obligatory hello

Welcome, nice to see someone starting off on the right track and going straight for the virginia! You've skipped a few steps not trying aromatic after aromatic wondering why you can't get a good smoke. Enjoy your piping. PAD will kick in soon, and pretty soon your yello-bowls will be your...

please recommend Aro's for those who don't like Aro's

I see someone mentioned Sutliff's Molto dolce. It is pretty goopy, it needs a healthy dry out time, then it can be enjoyable. I had to leave it in the tin for weeks before the moisture content got to where I wanted to jar it. Something I can more readily recommend, not that I have anything...

    Wishful shopping

I did that on P&C recently. Sometimes it helps to get a feel for what you want, then whatever you can talk yourself out of whatever you don't need, then pull the trigger once you've narrowed down the cart to an order you can afford. Its online window shopping!

Some nice classic (and classy!) pipes you've got here. They remind me of some old english pipes like a Brigham or Comoy's. Very nice work!

[/url] Enjoying a bowl of squadron leader at my friend's place this weekend in a Peterson Donegal 106. Just wanted to show off the beard before it disappears for the summer!
