    Sugar Barrel

Sugar Barrel has become one of my favourite tobaccos, almost an all-dayer. I've got 3 tubs stored for safe measure. I like that it is like PA or CH in that it tastes like burley tobacco. I like that it is slightly sweetened in a way that I can identify. I like that it behaves well and is...

Ok, you asked for it!........John Middleton's WALNUT

Yeah, could be so. I'm using a Brigham full bent 4 dot volcano with a pretty open draw and it's going good. I've experimented with a couple more bowls though and I really find it has alot to do with temperature. I just barely kiss it with a match flame for the charing light. On the second...

Ok, you asked for it!........John Middleton's WALNUT

I just had a great Walnut experience. I ordered 4oz to sample a couple of orders back and have had a few bowls - not that great, just OK. Today I thought I take a chance and use one of my pipes that are dedicated to english/oriental blends (instead of just the cob). I lit it very gently with...

Pipe Club Blends - Have you tried any? Which do you like?

spc plum pudding is outstanding! I would smoke it regularly if it weren't so pricey. It's got everything but the kitchen sink in it - but perfectly blended.

    Tobacco Taxes.... "RELAX Folks"

Problem here in Canada is that there isn't a serious candidate who doesn't support the smoking bans/taxation. Anti-smoking movement is so strong and ingrained that it is supported be all parties. I wonder if I could buy a native status card on the black market and go live on the reservation?

    Tobacco Taxes.... "RELAX Folks"

Are you kidding me? My heart just sunk. WTF! Ontario is f@#ked! Not only do I have to be a second class citizen because I'm a smoker, but I also get robbed for the pleasure - and pay the salaries for all those politicians who keep passing anti-smoking laws - and pay the hospital bills so all...

    The "House" medical drama

My wife and I have been watching House religiously since its first season. Great show! It is like a medical Holmes but with excellent comedic writing that doesn't take away from the Holmesian effect of the character of Greg House. Has anyone ever watched Geeves and Wooster? It's a pretty...

    The coming age ...in America

This economic downspell could end up being similar to the one experienced in Britain in the 80s. That lasted a decade. The reason was monetarism. The british gov't tired to infuse the economy with money to keep monetary levels stable. Their economy collapsed. High unemployment rates became...
