I saw some Custombilt pipe images and they were similar to Kaywoodie Hand Made Pipes of the 40's and 50's. Has anyone else noticed this? I have never had a Custombilt but they look to be pretty nice.

I had a chance to sample some of McClelland TQ or Avenue Top Quality Gold & Toasted. The flavor seems very subtle and I can't describe the flavor any further. I thought it was pretty tasty. Stinger

For those of us who are well past 50, how many have smoked pipes made out of hickory. I think they were made by Herschel & Bendheim and Missouri Meerschaum. I recall having some and the bark was still on the outside of the bowl. Stinger
