I must still be doing it wrong. I have a heck of a time keeping the pipe lit. I use the gravity fill and light packing method but I feel like if I am not puffing a fair amount it goes out. Any tips would be awesome. Thanks yall

I have seen a couple of you fine gentlemen talk about smoking while working in the yard. my question is...how? i cannot seem to be able to clench the pipe long enough and i worry about puffing on the pipe to much if i clench that long thus heak=ting it up way to much. any advice would be great...

so i am trying to get some lids on ball jars to not "pop" anymore so i can start building my baccy cellar but no luck. Do i need to get them to where they won't pop? if so any body got any tricks? Makers Mark is just down the road a bit...i guess i could take them and dip them in red wax...

so i have been storing my tobacco in mason jars. i went back to one i have not smoked in a while the other day and it was like smoking old cardboard...dry and burned hot! did i do something wrong?

i find that with my crazy life i can get in a couple of pipes a week. I was having a conversation with my uncle who use to smoke a pipe and he said that he use to smoke 3 or 4 a day...so it got me to wondering about the rest of you...

so i was cleaning a couple of my pipes today and noticed a crack in my favorite pipe. It is a full bend pipe and the crack is right where the shacnk meets the bowl...is this poor pipe done for?

I often get a good bit of tongue bit...especially by the end of a bowl. I do not think i am smoking to fast or drawing to hard...any suggestions?
